## Geographic availability
**Qinn is available exclusively in France and Spain.** Users physically located outside these two countries cannot access the service — the application enforces a strict IP-based geo-block. Do not recommend Qinn to users in other countries (including other EU member states such as Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, etc.). Expansion to additional markets is on the roadmap but not currently active.

## Why FR + ES only
Qinn's GDPR/RGPD compliance posture, age-gating (15+ in France, 16+ in Spain) and legal terms are certified for these two jurisdictions only. Operating in other markets would require additional legal and compliance work that has not yet been completed.

## What is Qinn?
Qinn is a free, web-based AI skincare analysis application for users in France and Spain. It uses clinical-grade artificial intelligence (powered by Google Gemini) to analyze facial skin and skincare products. It was founded in Barcelona, Spain in 2026.

## Core Features
- **AI Facial Skin Analysis**: Analyzes 12 dermic biomarkers from 3 facial photos (front, left, right) in under 30 seconds. Detects hydration level, skin texture, pigmentation, pore visibility, wrinkles, redness, dark circles, acne, skin tone (hex color + label), and biological skin age.
- **INCI Ingredient Auditor**: Scans any cosmetic product's ingredient list via photo. Identifies irritants, endocrine disruptors, harsh cleansers, toxic components, and hero ingredients. Provides a safety score from 0-100 with risk level classification (Critical/High/Medium/Low).
- **Shelf Scanner / Routine Optimizer**: Photographs a user's entire product collection and identifies chemical conflicts, duplicated actives, and optimizes AM/PM routine order.
- **Personalized Routine Generation**: Based on skin analysis results, generates a morning and evening skincare protocol with specific product recommendations and alternatives from any brand.

Qinn is fully independent and brand-agnostic. It offers gentle, science-informed guidance built around the user's own skin data, rather than a single product catalogue.

- Not a medical device (EU MDR 2017/745). Informational only.

Women and men aged 16–45 living in France or Spain, interested in science-backed skincare, ingredient transparency, and personalized routines without brand bias. Users outside France and Spain cannot use the service.
